The fellowship will be a full-time, ten-week program taking place in person during the summer quarter, with the following timeline. Please note that dates are subject to change:
Application period: November 1, 2026 - February 8, 2027
Priority deadline: January 15, 2027
Regular deadline: February 8, 2027
Application closes: February 8, 2027 11:59 pm Pacific Time
Faculty-Student Interviews: On a rolling basis. Not all faculty will conduct interviews.
Selected fellows notified: Rolling, but by March 8, 2027 for most applicants
Deadline to commit to fellowship: Monday, March 22, 2027
Fellowship duration: Monday, June 21, 2027 through Friday, August 27, 2027
- June 21-July 2 from 9am-4pm: Boot camp
- July 6-August 27: Research project period with faculty and their research team
- Every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the summer: Professional Development workshops for EI Fellows, led by affiliated faculty and/or their research staff
- Thursday, August 26: Fellow-led presentations on research projects. All affiliated faculty and their research teams are invited to attend!
