Eligibility
- Currently matriculated Stanford undergraduate students, with a strong preference for rising second and third years. Students not yet enrolled at Stanford (incoming frosh) and graduating seniors are not eligible to apply.
- Students must be in good academic standing.
- Students must be willing and able to complete the entirety of the fellowship program in person on Stanford campus during the summer quarter -- in other words, virtual participation is not available.
Other notes around eligibility and application considerations:
- There are no official course or academic requirements for eligibility. However, prior college-level coursework in statistics and/or demonstrated familiarity with statistical computing software (e.g., Stata, R) is preferred.
- Prior research experience is not required.
- Applicants with prior experience or interests in addressing equity in education are strongly encouraged to apply.
