Paulina Huang is an undergraduate at Stanford University with a prospective major in Data Science and Social Systems. Her interdisciplinary interests in quantitative methods, economic analysis, and politics drives her research in global educational opportunity disparities. With the SCALE Initiative she aims to uncover how the presence of technology contributes to and upholds systemic inequities in education among marginalized communities. 

Paulina comes from the D.C. Metro area. Prior to to coming to Stanford, she has competed in Speech and Debate, digitized over 200 primary documents during her time as a volunteer with the Civil War Interpretive Center at Historic Blenheim, and has worked with Georgetown Law Student to analyze how international and domestic policy interacts with the developing commercial space sector.

In Summer 2025, Paulina will be working with Professor Guilherme Lichand.
