Joe McDonald is a graduating senior majoring in symbolic systems with a concentration in learning. He is passionate about hands on teaching in the classroom as well as the intersection of education policy and technology. He has taken some time off during his undergraduate career to work as a substitute teacher for his local schools in Montana and plans to continue a career in education after graduating. On campus, Joe enjoys playing guitar in his band and being involved with the live music community.
In Summer 2026, he will be working with Professor Katharine Sadowski and the SCALE team as an Educational Impact Fellow.
