Bryan Gonzalez is a rising senior at Stanford University studying English and Education. Originally from a small town in Southern Illinois, his passions center on rural educational equity, researching pedagogical interventions for children and adolescents, and the intersections of technology and literature. While at Stanford, he has been involved with the Haas Center for Public Service as an Early Childhood Education Fellow, where he works with young children to strengthen reading and language development. He has also served as a Frosh 101 Co-Lead, a TA for EDUC 103A, and a Stanford NSO Coordinator. He hopes to pursue a career in education as an English professor. Outside of his studies, he enjoys writing creatively, often composing poems and short stories in cafés around the Bay Area, attending concerts, and being in communion with nature through hiking.

In Summer 2026, Bryan will be working with Professor Sean Reardon and The Educational Opportunity Project team.
