Monica Lee is a Senior Research Associate and Director of Research Operations, responsible for overseeing the strategic alignment of research-related operations & processes. As a quantitative researcher by training, she conducts research in partnership with several district- and state-level agencies by designing, implementing, and analyzing randomized controlled trials evaluating the effectiveness of various types of educational interventions on student or individual outcomes. Lastly, Monica directs the summer research fellowship program for undergraduates.
Monica holds a PhD in Educational Policy and a MA in Economics from Stanford University, an EdM in Education Policy and Management from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a BS in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University. Her background as a first-generation college student and English Learner informs her work and scholarly interests.
