Strategy

The ERPN Theory of Action shows our strategy for engaging in partnership work, which in turn facilitates our understanding of the priorities of education leaders, co-designing and undertaking beneficial research, and sharing research findings from across the field.

The ERPN at Stanford accelerates the use of research and practice at scale through:

  • Quality relationships: By building mutual trust for sustained partnerships and co-creating research questions to answer issues critical to our partners and the field.
  • Knowledge-building research for impact: By engaging with education agencies, states, umbrella organizations, universities and researchers, and service providers to understand need for research and establish best practices.
  • Transformation of research to tools, briefs, and other materials: By facilitating how our research is disseminated to ensure it is accessible and can be used in practice or policy.

We foster strategic and enduring partnerships between Stanford researchers and education agencies, organizations, service providers, and other researchers for the purposes of understanding the priorities of education leaders, sharing research findings from across the field, and co-designing and undertaking beneficial research.
