Valeria Pihl, is the AI Tools Manager for the AI Hub for Education, where she bridges learning science and emerging technologies to support confident, responsible AI adoption across K-12 education. With over a decade of international experience in the U.S. and Europe, Valeria specializes in translating complex technical shifts into scalable instructional design and actionable frameworks for educators.
Prior to Stanford, she designed digital learning experiences used by hundreds of thousands of global language learners at Education First and Duolingo, and spent five years as a classroom teacher delivering standards-aligned AP curricula. Valeria holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Education Policy, Organization and Leadership from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
