Graduate Research Assistant

India Polacek is a Graduate Research Assistant at SCALE Initiative. Her research delves into how AI tools can transform teacher administrative workload and improve student learning and scores. She also seeks bridge the educational disparities gap for students with learning disabilities and special needs through digital and community-based interventions. Prior to joining SCALE, she has conducted research in social psychology at her local university, where she investigated the role of racial/ethnic discrimination on hiring outcomes, evaluating the mechanisms that perpetuate systemic barriers for marginalized populations. 

India received a BS in Psychology with a coordinate major in Cognitive Studies at Tulane University, and is currently pursuing an MS in Behavioral Health (Health Psychology), also at Tulane University.
