California Language and Learning Innovation Collaborations

Supported a network of improvement among district teams in the area of academic language development. Teams from 10 different districts in CA participating in a 3-year process of collaboratively developing systemic changes to support academic language within their districts. Teams consisted of 5-10 members, representing leadership, coaches, instructional coordinators, teachers, curriculum specialists, principals, and other roles.

Key Deliverables:

  • Expert partnership in mathematics and early literacy
  • Design and development of "opt-in" professional development workshops focused on specific areas of need identified by district teams and partners
